That is definitely a long time to be with someone. But unfortunately, people do change sometimes. It might be because the passion is gone, or just because he has met someone else. I believe you shouldn't badger him back into a relationship with you. I feel the real truth is inevitable, if he really misses you and loves you and tries to work on "recapturing" that passion, he will call you. Please don't call him!

Its always going to be too early to call. If the passion is gone, let him be gone too. move on, it will never be the same.

First of all, have u been with him for 6 years or yall have been engaged for 6 years? if engaged for 6 years then he had no intent on actually marrying you. that's just too long. but, if not, i feel that it's not too early to call. if you really love him dont play games. call him if you want to, think of things that can re-light the flame, tell him you want to be with him. do whats in your heart. trust me, don't play the "im not calling him first" game because it can backfire. trust me, i know.
