I have long hair and I do not use a hairdryer after washing it, I just let it dry naturally. I usually stay inside while it dries, and the temperature in my house is 20-24ºC. I avoid going outside with wet hair unless it's in the summer. Is this in any way bad for my health?

Letting your hair air-dry is actually better than using a dryer. However it's not a good idea to go out in winter with your hair wet, because that increases the chance that you'll get chilled and more susceptible to catching a cold.

HOney it is ok. I am mid 20s and i do the same with my hair. I never dry them. I even go out with wet hair. I know it isnot good but my hair is curly and i need either to mousse it and then dry or it wil get freezy.

I dry them naturally. I try to wash hair in before i go to bed, so to the morning it will be dry.

It is good that you dont go out untill they r dry. At least you care about your health.

No. I've been air-drying my hair my whole life and I'm perfectly healthy. People only use blow-dryers just to because either A) They don't know that it's okay not to, or B) They want a certain style that requires immediate dry hair after a shower.

all I know is that leaving your hair wet for a long time can give you a headache.

the temperature in your house sounds reasonable, but in the winter you may wanna wear a towel on your head to keep you warmer. and make sure to comb your hair after washing it to get rid of excess water.

No, I have been doing that for 52 years now but I do go outside. My hair dries better in sunlight and natural breezes.

I think you 're ok if you stay in the house. I would not go outside in the freezing cold with wet hair.

If you use a blowdryer that makes ur hair get split-ends and its not good for your hair.
