Sure if he's a friendly, loving puppy...or how about Oscar (weiner dog...Oscar Meyer) We had a bassett hound we nicknamed Low-Rider after the song....I guess it just depends on the animal's personality, and how comfortable you'd feel calling that name out in the park....
