It is true that your dog may not be pure bred because of the saggy skin. However it is NOT true that if it weighs over 60 pounds it is not a pure bred. I have been around pits my whole life, and have lots of breeding friends. I am also a judge in ABDA Comformation Shows. We see a lot of 65, 70 lb APBT's.

Pure bred American Pit Bull Terriers do not have wrinkles or sags under their chin. That is a sign of mastiff mixed in somewhere. And if your dog is 60 lbs or more then you know it's mixed.

All 4 of mine have sagged just a little. You can't see it by looking ,but by feeling. Tigger is the only one who hasn't sagged at all.

mine has a little loose skin under her chin. (There are some pictures of her at my blog listed below but I'm not sure there are any profiles...)
