Not really although they say it is...it is said the water you consume is more important than the food.
the best water is magntized (magnetize by putting a 1000 or greater magnet under it north side to the magnet) steam distilled water with occasssional use of reverse osmosis water (in the u fill it jugs at grocery store)..
and also get a good water filter i=on your home sink and use it for drinking, ice, and soups at home.

In most developed countries the water IS safe to drink straight out of the tap. In these countries, many people have filters or use bottled water strictly as a matter of taste preference. The water may be safe to drink but have an unpleasant taste or odor to some folks, so they have simple filters. In the US, the people who say the tap water isn't good for you are generally trying to sell you something. You need to learn to look through that and not be disturbed by it.
If you live in an undeveloped country, boiling the water and then filtering it through a big expensive filter will generally keep you safe from water-borne illnesses.

IF your water system is hooked up to public water in the USA and the tap and pipe themselves are clean, then it is safe to drink.
Better watch well water if that is your system and you pump it up to a tank, most areas like that have septic systems as well, and you might be mixing the remains of yesterday's breakfast with tomorrow's soup.

The so called safest tap water supplies will still have the Chlorine in it, which is not good for our bodies.
Therefore it is best to have the water filtered using some kingd of filteration, no matter where you live.

Depends what country you live in. Generally in Western Countries water is treated correctly. Tap water dose contain some sediment and fluoride. Toilet water is recycled into Tap water, pretty nasty but it's still treated.
