The restaurants have the same kitchen where the food is being cooked , whether the take away or dine in.
They already have the waiters and dish washers for their shift paid , so some more dishes to wash does not mean extra money to the restaurant, where as supplying the plastic tubs and the bags might mean few more cents)

Therefore it does not matter whether you eat in or take away. ( the cost to the restaurant would be the almost same).

If the restaurants are really busy and the tables are hard to find then they offer some discounts on take away. However if the restaurant seats are empty then do not bother giving extra discounts for take away, as they want the hotel to look busy.

So you think you should pay less because you "take-out"? The price of a meal is the price of a meal. You don't get a discount for the absence of a waitress! Instead you get fast service via "take out" the same meal, but add bags, pre-packaged condiments, to-go trays, (more costly than dinning in) the service itself, the convenience of having the meal at your own home, the availability of a pre-cooked meal.

Dinning IN actually cost the restaurant less money to serve. So maybe you should start a movement that charges the customers more for dinning IN?

Oh yeah, wait! that is called "tipping the waitress" so EYE guess you did get a discount after all!!!!!!!

The major charges are still involved, such as rent and utilities, cooks, ingredients, cooking untensils. The only thing you're saving them is a few dishes to wash and the waiter. However, if you have a take-out menu, read the small print. Many offer a 5% discount or a bonus food item for takeout. You might want to switch your takeout place.

Just out of curiousity, and not involved with the question, why do you type u instead of you? If its to save time or space, why do you type eye instead of I?

Restaurant sales prices are based on the cost of the raw ingredients - roughly 1/3 of the sales price is the main ingredients, 1/3 the cost of salaries, utilities bills, etc. and the remaining 1/3 is profit.
These costs remain constant regardless of where the diner chooses to consume their meal so it is unreasonable to expect them to reduce the price of take out.

In such a lot of eating places served with banana leaf, I think they charged the shoppers however incorporated prior into the menu fee. By the best way the leafs are disposable.. Anyone needs to lepak with amoi Rina, come I belanja you at 7 Spice, Danga Street. They have scrumptious variety of Indian ala carte cooked with banana leaf lay at the meals.
