This guy, Angel, who has been my best friend since kindergarten just told me he loved me. I don't love him and I only want hi mas a friend. But I don't know how to tell him! Help!?!

tell him that you dont like him and that you just want to be friends he will understand trust me if he doesnt want to be friends with you after you told him this then he is not a real friend he just used you as a botty call then

You may not love him, but you still want him as a friend; or maybe you'll change your mind in the future. Plainly tell him in a sweet and gentle way that you cherish his friendship so much, and you want to carry it with you forever; and also include that you love him as a good friend. And also, if he asks you if you love him, tell him that you do, but in a "friendly" way, and tell him to give you time to think about it. Maybe you should think it over; but if you're assured that you don't love him, just tell him in a sweet way you still want to remain friends, and nothing more.

I would tell him that you love him as a friend and that you don't love him the way he loves you, you need to be honest with him and you need to be nice .. but I'm not sure how much of friendship you'll have after that ...

he probably knows you dont love him the same way,, and he is probably regretting saying anything,,sometimes a man can love a woman,, without saying anyting,, for just this scenario,, at least if you didnt know he could still love form afar,,sometimes,,thats enough...just be honest and caring with him,, if he decides to stop being friends,, then you will probably end up back on here asking if you should try to ask him out or something...

i know what you are going through this guy i new since kindergarten likes me i was like eww... we'll if u don't like him than u just don't. but try dodge conversations when it seems like he is about to say that he likes you or wants to go out with you.. for once u say no your friendship will be a mess!!

Tell him your flatterd but the feeling is not mutual, if he is a good freind he will understand & respect you. If he keeps putting it on you then he doesn't respect your freindship either so slowly withdraw before it turns nasty.
