does this remind Anyone of the Berlin wall?
i think they should give citizenship to anyone who can pass an English exam and prove a certain level of efficiency,
if not... go back where you came from and learn the language that we voted to have way back around the revolutionary war...
we would all be using German right now except English won that vote by one vote!
and it should hold true for any nationality.

He just said the other day that no Americans want amnesty for illegals. It will not ever happen. The wall /fence will be built I'm just not sure when.I know the Minute Men already have 3 miles of their border fence built. Its being built on private land donated by ranchers in Arizona. Its being paid for by donations. Its a double fence system
made from an Israeli design. They just got a $ 7 million dollar donation from a fiber optic company. Its a very high tech fence. Its being built far cheaper than the government fence would cost and is a very high tech operation.

Lol... I haven't heard about the wall, what an incredible waste of money. But then, George and his henchmen have been bleeding this country dry for years now. And no, it won't work.

BTW, those illegals were granted residency with the Act of 1986, so this whole mess was just a ploy to rile up Americans and take the heat off the war and George. When will we learn?

The Republicans are "less guilty" of wanting Amnesty because they have had their constituents and talk radio keeping the heat on them to prevent it. Without that, they would love giving Amnesty (free labor)

Do not giver the Democrats a pass on the issue. They see a new class of voters that they can enslave with their social programs and create a new class of Democratic voters.

But when I say the Republicans are "less guilty", I mean that it is a 51% to 49% split. Both parties are out to lunch on immigration.

A 700 ft. wall? Length, height, depth? God,a question like this scares me.The wall thing is stupid. Bush and the bunch are simply playing with this. The corporate people will put loads of money in their pockets when they are out of office.

News Flash..Don't generalize a topic like that.please! I am a republican, and Bush is my commander in chief. That does not mean that I agree 110% with POLITICS! Both parties are making invalid claims to this very contreversial issue, and the partisianship is only going to make it a joke. Put Whatever party it is you follow aside, Look at this issue deeply, and follow the candidate that you feel will make the biggest difference. The Dems are flip-flopping this issue as much as or more than The Republicans,

Because they need the Hispanic vote.

Can you imagine the boost Republicans would get at the polls for being the party that helped 12 million illegals? It's be like freaking Christmas for them.

Errrrrr, make that Navidad. :)

firstly, how do yo deal with 12 million (estimated figure) illegal immigrants.
when you build the wall (with taxpayers money), how would you deal with boats
Yes immigration has to be dealt with somehow, but I do not think this is the solution, I am not saying stopped by the way, I am saying dealt with with the broad meaning of the term, meaning, some of these illegal immigrants would be losses to their families, less labor for the local economy of the country they left especially when you are dealing with highly qualified graduates...etc
finally, who's gone do the jobs they are doing for the majority of the cases.

12 million illegals = 12 million votes... you do the math!

Politicians are the same everywhere, its only to the degree of stupidity and arrogance which differs.
