Aside from the teaching in the service, something BEAUTIFUL happened that I want to share with you all.

A dear friend of mine was dealing with some disappointment in her life today and since things did not work out as she had hoped she decided to help out in the nursery during the service...

Can you believe... A new baby showed up and my friend was able to care for the little one. The baby's name was, "FAITH!"

That made me gasp. What a beautiful way that God reassured my friend in her time of disappointment, that He was taking care of everything! What a beautiful way to remind her to "Have Faith!"

It was as if God spoke right to her and said, "Here have 'Faith' as a little child!"

How did God speak to your heart today?

rosebif: I know you are not *that* blind. Surely you knew it was not "the baby in the nursery" so much as it was the baby's NAME; "Faith!" :::rolls eyes:::

Such a blessing to see how God moved across the earth today, in all our hearts. God is so good! Thanks for sharing everyone. It really blesses me a lot to see that God is able to meet us all where we are at, no matter what! It reminds us that He will never leave us or forsake us!

Tommy: We who believe, used our critical thinking skills to choose Christ. :) We've been there and done that already! You should join us. It only gets better after that part.

Uncle johnny: You did not miss out on this miracle. Because I felt led to share it here, you were able to read about it yourself. This means that GOD INCLUDED YOU IN HIS MIRACLE! You should feel blessed and rejoice with us. There is no reason to slit your wrists when you can see here that God is including you!

God is awesome isn't He?!
today we learned about the cry of worship in suffering.. While worship in good times seems a natural expression, worship in times of suffering takes on a different tone and requires a special effort. One thing we must accept about God is that there are some things we just can not understand. Isaiah 55:6-11
God wants us to know its okay to demand a reason as long as we accept his reply.

Wow that sounds like the God I know! He loves your friend and met her right where she was didn't He! Praise Him. He is wonderful.
We had such great praise music and worship today, it was really a blessing. I love it when the music is so worshipful and we can just sing praises to Him and focus. It's all about Him.

Romans 9:12 "Jacob have I love, but Esau have I hated."
I never understood why God hated Esau so profoundly. I learned why in Amos 1:11 today. Incredible teaching!

what a wonderful story! today in church we talked about selling out to the world vs. storing treasures in heaven. it spoke to my heart because i get so caught up in the things of the world, things that will eventually break down/fall away/disintegrate/die. it helped me remember that things like righteousness, integrity, and love can never be taken away. blessings on your day!

I noticed that no one has answered, "I learned to think critically" or "I learned to think for myself."
