It is little and white with DAN on one side and numbers on the other is it for pain??

Uses for Cyclobenzaprine (generic Flexeril):

Flexeril relaxes muscles and relieves pain and discomfort associated with strains, sprains, spasms or other muscle injuries.

How to Use Cyclobenzaprine (generic Flexeril):

May be taken with food if stomach upset occurs. Take Flexeril as directed. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than prescribed.

Side Effects of Cyclobenzaprine (generic Flexeril):

May cause stomach upset, heartburn, constipation, headache, dizziness or drowsiness or dry mouth the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or become severe, notify your doctor. Inform your doctor if you develop: muscle stiffness, skin rash, itching, rapid heart rate, swelling of the face, difficulty urinating. When rising quickly from a sitting or lying position, dizziness or lightheadedness may occur. Change positions slowly and use caution on stairs. Avoid activities requiring alertness if dizziness or drowsiness occurs. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions when taking Cyclobenzaprine:

Before taking Cyclobenzaprine, tell your doctor if you have: glaucoma, an overactive thyroid gland, heart disease, difficulty urinating, any allergies. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding before taking Cyclobenzaprine.

Drug Interactions with Cyclobenzaprine:

Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medications you take, especially of: cimetidine, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, narcotic pain medication (e.g., codeine), anti-allergy drugs, drugs used for asthma, cough-and-cold medicines. Alcohol adds to the dizziness and drowsiness caused by cyclobenzaprine. Limit alcohol intake. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Overdose of Cyclobenzaprine :

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fast or irregular heartbeat, enlarged pupils, seizures, and loss of consciousness.

Other Notes about Cyclobenzaprine (generic Flexeril):

Do not use for longer than 3 weeks unless specifically instructed to do so. Cyclobenzaprine provides temporary relief and must be used in addition to rest, physical therapy and other measures. Do not allow anyone else to take Flexeril.

If you Miss a Dose of Cyclobenzaprine (generic Flexeril):

If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

Storage of Cyclobenzaprine (generic Flexeril):

Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.

Where did you get this pill? If from an RX bottle, call the pharmacy listed on the label and ask. Even with just the name from the bottle you could check it out on www.webMD.com. If it is not in a bottle, DO NOT TAKE IT!!! Why would you want to take such a risk?

It's not likely that the pill can be definitively identified with only this information. If you absolutely need to know, take it to a pharmacy and ask. The only other thing you should do is throw it away!!!

I have no idea, please consult a pharmacist at the drug store, or a doctor. But in the meantime use a pain killer that you know is safe, life tylenol, advil, aleve, etc. Taking pills that you don't know what they are, are very dangerous. Could even kill you. mermaid199

hard to tell....a great book with pill pics is the pill book. But it sounds like this drug is generic so i would go to a pharmacy and ask there.

if you give me the numbers engraved on the other side i will be able to identify it for you. also, what is the shape? round, oval? is it a tablet or capsule?

this is a very silly question, there are so many possibilities....

i do NOT recommend you take this pill, especially since you have NO CLUE what is could be.

warning if you don't know what it is don't take it
you can take it to a pharmacy or hospital & ask them to check it out. never take a pill that you don't know what it is it can be deadly; or lead to
date rape or worse.

What are the numbers on the otherside?? Without being able to look at it, it could be anything! Please dont take it if it's not yours.
