How long ago was the surgery and how heavy is the bleeding? It's not usual for there to be a little risidual blood immediately after surgery (for a day or two), but if the dog is bleeding a lot, and/or it's been more than a few days since its surgery, the dog may be hemorrahging or some of its internal stitches might have torn free. Get your dog back to its vet to get this checked out.

In the meanwhile, watch for signs of shock: listlessness, pale gums, wobbly walk, etc. Blood loss can cause a dog to go into shock very quickly.

This was done on my POM...when i brought her home, was no blood or seeping. I had to feed her 3 small soft meals a day for 7 days. Also she couldn't have normal exercise for a week. If your dogs having problems, its possible the intestine where put back together has came apart. Call you vet NOW!
