Give her a bouquet of flowers and apologize. If she's mature enough she ought to understand that you were only flirting and not serious.

okay...well okay tell her how u really feel...and say that u are sorry for what u did...but people flirt all the time. That doesn't mean u want this other chick...over the girl u like...all u are doing is flirting and this (other girl) means nothing to you, and u never ment to do it at all.
Get her flowers-a boutique of flowers! And u can also get her a peice of jewelry...its all up to you!
Im agreeing with the other people...to get her flowers and maybe jewelry.

All girls, young and old, love flowers. Roses are a good choice unless you know of a particular flower she likes(daisies are my preference). Have them delivered at school so everyone can see.

And don't be flirting in front of her any more if you want to avoid this in the future.

A single rose can say as much as a dozen, so don't feel you have to spend a lot of money.

Hey, you really need to tell her how you feel, say it from the heart.
Don't be afraid to show your feelings. It is probably hard for someone who is only 16 to do that, but try it. I think maybe you have learned your lesson. If you are interested in someone, don't be flirting with someone else, that is just going to tell her that you really aren't as interested as you say you are. Tell her how you feel and that you messed up big time. If she is willing to accept your apologies then give her something nice for her birthday.

Just tell you are sorry. For her birthday, a piece of jewelry is a nice present (ie, bracelet or necklace). It will be more special because you gave it to her. Maybe an ankle bracelet. Best of luck.
