ok im getting a short haired german shepherd puppy soon its a Female.. any ideas i was thinking Dodger but wat do you think? thanx for your ideas

girl. no seriously. call the dog "girl" until the puppy is a little older and you can see what sort of personality and temperment the dog has. as well, take the breed into consideration. it's kinda cute when big, tough dogs have cutesy names, and vice versa. any distinguishing physical marks?then, i cast my vote for saint.

I think Dodger would be a boy's name. Dixie, Dancie, Lola, Roxie, Xena

I am not too enamored with Dodger. It is a common name.
I have a few suggestions- you can take them or leave them.

Jade. its such a cute name for a girl dog, and it fits the german shepard breed especially well. make sure to get a coller with a tag with her name on it, and some way to reach you. this way, its very rare for you to lose her and not get her back.

My dogs (both girls) names are Gumdrop, Gummy for short, and Princess Patches, Patches for short. They are a Rottweiler and a Dalmatian.
