I like doing thick cuts of chicken or porkchops with apples on the GF grill. I do thicker cuts because thin cuts tend to dry out easily on the grill because it's taking out the fat.
I just place the meat on the grill and let it cook until almost done, then I add apple slices and cook all together until the apples are tender. Try marinating the meat in apple juice first.
Also, as others have said hamburgers are always good.
Try looking up a tuna burger or a salmon and dill burger recipe online also. Those two are really good on the grill. I haven't had trouble with the house smelling like things I've cooked on the GF grill like others have, but it does create a mess load of steam so put it where it can ventilate well.
Good luck cooking!

The George Foreman grill is great to cook on. It cleans up easily with a wet rag, the drip pan cleans out easily and it will cook your meat well as long as you use thin enough pieces of meat. If you cook something too thick it won't close and cook properly. As a single woman, it is nice quick and easy to use, or in the winter when the grill isn't accessible it comes in handy. It's not as good as grilling, but it is still good.

RE: Anyone have any tips on how to clean a George Foreman grill? Every time I attempt to clean my George Foreman grill after I cook chicken or burgers I can never seem to get it clean enough. Anyone have any tips?

I do marinated pork chops in an oriental marinade. It's a lot of soy sauce, minced ginger and garlic, hot fire oil, sesame oil, chopped green onions, and just a drizzle of honey.
Put the pork loins in a ziplock with the marinade, and stick in the fridge for a few hours. They'll come out perfect in about 5 minutes smooshed in the grill.

Cookings steaks on it right now. Just be sure to clean it after you are finished or you will have a mess. Use a wet cloth and make sure it is still warm and don't use anything harsh on it like brillo pads. And also don't use metal things when cooking on it. It sure does take all the fat out of it. Good Luck.

The one that I find miost useful is to get that drip catcher in place before you do anything else otherwise cleaning the counter is a real pain.
I spray the griddles with Pam and rub boneless chicken breasts with dried herbs. When it is almost done I pour white wine on and close the top so the chicken steams in the wine flavor.

Your best bet is not to. You can cook the same kind of stuff on a regular grill or if you don't have it, try one of those griddles that has a grill on it. I have one of those George Foreman Grills, and it doesn't cook right. It either burns it or it's not done at all. And it's not like I don't know how to cook. I make Thanksgiving dinner from scratch. I know how to cook.

Once I did salmon on it. It turned out really good but do it OUTSIDE! We did it inside and the house smelt like fish! Hamburgers are good too on it.
