If you have been really happy and fulfulled for over 10 years, marriage or otherwise, please explain to me how is your partner supposed to feel when you lust for other women. It is something that we should toughen up to and just accept, or is there such as thing as true love?

Thank you I really need clarification in my narrow mind. Are you saying that you can love a woman and want other women?

And if this dynamic is going on, how is the other person supposed to feel.

I don't want to hear dont take it personally.

I wouldn't expect for someone to lust after another when in love. It might not be common, but true love does exist, and allowed me to admire other women without lust.

That's the age-old question. Are we truly meant to be monogamous?

I've been married for 2 yrs and my wife and I have been together for 5yrs. I love my wife with all that's me but I certainly notice other woman. I wouldn't say I necessarily lust after other women but I notice them. However if you do truly love the person you are with you may notice or even lust after other woman as long as you don't act on those feelings. Once you act on those feelings and cheat on the one you're with then you have crossed the line and betrayed their trust.

However I do feel you could cheat on someone and still love them but you got to really figure out if it's worth destroying the trust you have built with your partner.

lust is a strong word. are u sure that fits, or is he just noticing other attractive women? i've been married for over 12 years.. i do love my wife and i have been faithful to her. that doesn't mean that i don't notice and look at other women. it's just a man thing.. we have to look. try not to take it personally.
how are you supposed to feel? i guess u should feel that u have a normal healthy husband.
of course there is such a thing as true love, but that doesn't mean that a man can't notice other women as well. (note that i say 'notice'.. i am not condoning, in any way, anything beyond looking.)

You must be dreaming. I have been married for 20 years (very Happily) and I have never ever lusted for another woman, nor has she for another man. Maybe you just have not had a good relationship yet. Don't blame the guys, women lust after men just as well.

Well it is very simple Love is about accepting you patner for who he/she is... If you try to change him/her the relation is not going to work. I love my wife on my definition of love is GOD... That means that I respect her, her desicions, her opinion, her space, her good days and bad days (PMS) When she returns from work Bitching and complaining, ETC. Every little thing of her... Lots of communication with her I feel that I can tell her every little thing I done, doing and what I'm thinking of doing. Now the feeling has to be mutual or is not going to work. I tell her what I want, and how I want it done. She is the same way too. At the begining it was a matter of ajusting to one another. Now it's all about her any our family. But she did not have to make me change. I did for my own. I hope this can help you. EFIL

I am happy and fulfilled (18 years married) so I don't lust after other women and won't as long as she keeps me happy and fulfilled. So if your man is lusting after other women you better feel ticked off and need to find out why he is doing that soon or your going to lose him.
