Its all in your act. If your act is good and you can get it out there (open mikes and demo tapes) then you won't have a problem.

Comedy comes incredibly easy to some people, others work their entire lives perfecting routines. Just remember that the most important part is being able to set up a joke, being funny with your friends is all well and good, but things get tough when you have to make laughter out of thin air.

Tell stories about whatever strikes you as hilarious in the moment.
Look around, you can probably find some things.
Then, go and tell the stories where there are people listening, like comedy clubs, and around tv and movie studios. Hang out where producers have lunch and tell bawdy jokes loudly.

i don't exactly know how but if you work your butt off you can get there, you gotta be very good for people to notice you, stand out in the whole crowd cause there are a lot of people out there who have dreams like you and you have to be outstanding to get what you want.
