Ignore his behavior, like the temper tantrum of a child. Sometimes a cat, like a child will act out a certain behavior to get a desired result. If they do not get the desired result, the behavior will probably stop if this is the problem.
If this is not successful, take him to see a vet, he could be ill and acting out is his way of expressing his pain.

Do not even think of having your cat declawed..(they amputate the end of the cats toes when they do that!) go look up the images of a declawing to see for yourself.
Ohh for original poster...
Is your kitty a young one? Sometimes they go through stages. Mine get super hyper once in a while and then stop.
Have you given your kitty some toys to play with, or spent time with him? He might just be bored.

Your cat is probably angry cos he might be hungry or he might be frustrated. If he starts biting and being agressive, try wrapping him around with a towel and hugging him gently. This works but just make sure he rests a while before you do this. Try to give him a lot of love and affection. Try spending time or playing with him. He might be frustrated of bore-dom.

cats can in all probability, yet whilst a horse and a cat can do it, whilst they have none or little genetic connection, dogs in all probability do too. I quite have a golden retriever and he or she is great....... they're the least selfish and that i've got study that they've the 2d lightest dung.... she makes the entire kinfolk chuffed!!! additionally very obidient and extremely beneficiant (nicely the alternative of selfish is what i propose!)

Indoor cats are well known for their "night frenzies". They are just working off excess energy and it's not anything to worry about.
