I don't think that there are undiscovered ones. I do think there are ones that are barely at sea level, covered with uncut vegetation, and swarming with hostile animals. I don't think anyone thinks of them as prime real estate even if they are not settled right now.

It is the usual real estate issue of location, location, location. Off the coast of Connecticut US in Long Island sound there are small rocky lumps in Branford harbor that are called thimble islands. Some are just big enough for one house and a dock, with no yard and no roads. They were settled in the 1700's with old houses filling each entire island and the town even running "school bus" boats to pick up school kids from them.

there are no undiscovered islands but there are quite a few uninhabited ones.

Probably, they might not be that big, but satellites dont look at every where, they only look at where there is importance.
