Just because he doesn't like the war, all of you war supporters get pissed at him. Just because he doesn't belive in killing innocent people the way many you do, you get angry. Why?

Because he's a bold face liar. He says he did 6 years in the Army. There's no way he did. Not to do the posts he does. NOBODY prior military wishes men and women to be dead. He particularly hates the Marines. He's even said he hopes his nephew or somebody like that dies and brags about laughing at him for joining. That's just sick.

Other lies include, that he's a retired police officer. He bashes them quite frequently too. He also says he's retired DoD. Do you realize it's not possible to do 6 years military, retire as a police officer and retire as DoD. To retire from those, you have to work LONG terms.

Also, he fabricates news stories. This is against the law. He'll post an article, then change the words in it or add things or totally omit certain facts. He'll change it whatever way he needs to get people to follow him.

If he wants to protest, that's fine. He has that right. If he doesn't believe in war, that's fine. That's another right our military secures for him. However, he should not ever lie or change news reports. That's wrong on many levels. If you have a cause or purpose, at least use facts and be real. Don't hate so much. Try to reason. Constant posting of the sames things over and over and over does nothing for him or what he believes in.

He's hateful and should seek professional help. I truly believe there's something wrong with a person that has to lie that much to get attention and stir hatred in people because he hates himself.

Just remember, his opinion isn't the only one. We do have a right to disagree with him just like he disagrees for us. I'm not a war supporter, so to speak, but I believe in what my husband does. I don't care if Erudite likes it or not. As long as he continues to spew hatred and evil toward our military, I will reply and protect what I believe in.

EDIT: I find it quite interesting that you JUST created this account and ask a question about Erudite. You haven't asked another question or even answered one. Yet, you know all about Erudite. I'm sure you're Erudite in disguise, just like his new friend Mark Bingham. He did the exact same thing as you. Pretty pathetic actually.

It would be different if he had truthful oppositions to the war. However, he manufactures news stories and posts blatant lies that can easily be refuted with a few clicks of the mouse.

No one here believes in the killing of innocent people. Remember that my friends that were killed in the Pentagon and NY were innocent people too. This war may not even be the best way to protect innocent people, but it is still working.

I have an open ear for alternatives. God knows that we are all looking for a solution. However, the solution has to be based on truth, and that is something Erudite likes to discard.

I'm not a war supporter, never have been and never will be but I will always support the troops at war. Erudite criticises the troops for doing their job, he twists the fact and tries to make out that the troops are wimps. I'm one of those troops that he has been dissing and all he does is complain about it. Erudite is entitled to his own opinion just as much as the next person but it's just the way he goes about it, he doesn't appreciate all that people like me have done.

This is a time i am glad I can support every answer that was posted to your question I cant even respond to it adequately because every answer is true in every respect, but I will answer one part of your question about him not believing in the killing of innocent people I think he lives for it I think he gets great satisfaction in it ,probably scans the news for stories about some innocent person somewhere dying tragically. of course this is speculation but I really think erudite is a sick bastard and should get some kind of mental help

[HEartstrinGs] above is right.

First off, no former military servicemen and women will wish his or her friends in their services dead. I'm currently on TDY (non-combat) duties and everyday, the first thing I do in the morning is to pray for the safety of our troops out there.

And HEartstinGs brought up a good point that I overlooked. Erudite claims to have serve in the USMC, but beats up on the Marines every chance he/she gets. And the part about being a retired police officer AND a DoD employee?!

No way its possible, no matter how you see it. It just doesn't add up (if you don't believe, ask for his/her D.O.B, enlistment age for the USMC, the PD, and his/her capacity as a DoD employee and it will all come to light).

And the final point is that Erudite ask a lot of really mindless questions. Plus the fact that he/she distorts the way things really are and spread those lies of his/hers as truths here makes him/her both a coward and a dumbass at the same time.

And no, I don't pick on him/her for fun. But I do pick on people who PRETENDS to have been there and done that when its obvious that they haven't. There are a lot of active and former US Armed Forces personnel in Yahoo! Answers and they can tell the moment people sprout lies here.

If anyone is under the belief that we aren't allowed to have our own opinions, it's Erudite. He's the one that has claimed to go off on people he sees in parking lots with "Support The Troops" magnets on their cars. He has also claimed he has went as far as removing those magnets off of vehicles that don't belong to him. What the hell gives him the right to do that?
Erudite disagreeing with the war and the President isn't the reason so many of us find him so obnoxious and rude. It's his Military bashing, rewriting news articles on the war to fit his beliefs, and just flat out making stuff up. I'm sure somewhere on Yahoo Answers there is a family member or friend of a solider that has been seriously wounded or killed in Iraq, and he post insensitive questions like"Is it ok to tell the families of US soldiers killed in Iraq that they got what they deserved for fighting in a war that's wrong?" That is just beyond cruel to say, and I can only imagine what someone would be feeling if they came across a comment like that after having a loved one killed or hurt in the war.
This man is still angry about the Vietnam war, and he takes it out on the people serving in the Military now. Many people who weren't even born or old enough to remember the Vietnam war! It's as if he wants to see our troops suffer and be mistreated when they come home from Iraq, just as our Vietnam Vets were when they returned home.
There are a lot of people on here that disagree with the war, but they don't lash out at the Military. I've even seen many of them reply to his posting's and tell him what a idiot he is. So again, this isn't because of his beliefs on the war, it's his cruelty and complete disrespect for the Armed Forces and their families.
You know, just because we have the right to free speech and are allowed to say what we want, doesn't mean we always should! There are times when people just need to keep their opinions to their selves, and Erudite should do that every once in a while.
Perhaps if you had a loved one in the Military, especially if they're serving in Iraq, you could understand they way we Military families feel when we encounter people like Erudite, and then you wouldn't be so quick to defend him. That man is a heartless moron, and if he is as vocal out in public to people that he claims to be, and makes the remarks that he says on here, somebody is going to end up kicking his @ss. Something I would pay to see.

He posts pointless questions all the time. He asks why do so many military wives cheat on their husbands? Why is this Marine crying? These are not real questions. These posts to piss off people on this board. That is the only reason he does it. He is very immature and should not be allowed to post on this site. I report him every time he asks one of these dumb questions.

Look just questions up above this one, "Did more troops die today in Iraq?" What kind of question is that??

Because he is to the current wars what Jane Fonda was to the Vietnam. His style is inflammatory and he is attacking the wrong people just like she did. In both wars its not the soldier's fault they are there. They go where the Commander in Chief sends them. His statements make it seem like we (the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines) can read his words then say heck with it and go home. His grip is with the government not the military.

he is not a regular guy who doesn't support the war, he talks $hit about Americans and says stupid $hit that is just wrong. For example, saying he respects the Terrorist and he don't give a damn that the Troops are dying, he takes it as a joke, AND IT'S NOT!

Heck, I don't go off on him. Never have! You know what? I support our troops! I don't support the war at all!
