I have a one year old "Ragdoll" female that is fairly quiet most of the time. As soon as I lie down to sleep, she lays down with me and starts meowing like crazy. I've tried ignoring her, squirting her with water & petting her (not all at the same time) in an attempt to get some quiet. Nothing has worked. As soon as I'm up, she stops. Her vet says she is very healthy and she gets plenty of attention so I am stumped. Any ideas that would help?

Try to make her tired before you go to bed, maybe play with her making her to chase a toy or chase her around the house ...until she is almost out of breath....it should help....she is very young and needs a lot of exercise, they sleep all day and when we back from work/school the expect us to give them all our attention, unfortunately, we are often tired and have only enough energy to fill up their dishes with food and water.... :-(

Do you clip your cats claws each 2 weeks to shrink harm? provide up with the spraying already, it needless to say would not artwork. A smack with a rolled newspaper onto the floor makes sufficient noise to provide up them. She's a CAT, she does what instinct tells her, and your scratching surfaces you provided are no longer what she likes, maximum cats have a decision. I certainly have one that likes cardboard bins, yet another likes a timber board, maximum like carpeting. NONE like the sissle rope. in basic terms get the double sided sticky tape for the place she's scratching on furnishings. it truly is the least complicated restore. some people get a chair in easy terms for the cat to apply. She's needless to say greater potential than your different cat. we've finished foodstuff preparation on ours so as that they do no longer grab and run, it truly is tremendously easy. in basic terms call them to you and placed what they desire (small piece) onto a plate or piece of paper for them. Sharing as you call their call shows they get a element, they back off from taking the full concern that way.

She just wants to share some quality time with you. If you are laying down in your bedroom, I would just suggest that you close the door.

Have you every fallen asleep in front of her? maybe she (like you) is concerned about your health. Only you are conserned about her health. It also might be that she thinks that you are leaving her for the world of dreams! LOL
