& What Shade Of Black? I don't think blue-black..but whats the darkest? like jet black? Right now my hair is brown but very light brown in the sun and i got it dyed chestnut brown a couple months ago to cover up this ugly mistake of redish hightlight on the top of my hair but it's coming back becasue i only used a rinse. so bassically i have to dye my hair. should i dye it just chestnut brown again or Black? My skin color is like halle berry's..alicia keys'.

try the l`oreal feria- bright black .
lovely haircolour, i use that, my hair shiny and bright.
today the black colour is very in and popular.

ohhh you have the beautiful skin tone then. I have always thought that a medium golden brown looks beautiful with that skin tone.
If you dye your hair black I would suggest the darkest shade of brown you can find...like Dusk from Hydrience if they still make it...It turns black, but not jet black or anything...you need a softer black with your skin tone....and remember that when you dye your hair black you have to use a type of stripper to remove the color if you ever want it light again, and that stuff damages hair unless you pay the salon a lot of money.

black is really black! I died my hair darkest brown but it turned black, like pitch black. I hid in my apartment until i could make an appointment at the salon and get it redone. I say the darkest shade of brown and a semi permanent color that lasts 3 months-it'll last longer.
