Wow, there's not enough time in the day to answer the first part. As for the how do we fix it, we can't. God can, but I'm not sure we'd all like the solution.

Stop looking at it as wrong, or needing to be fixed.
God gives us what ever we want.
If we want something different we need to change our mind about the world we see around us.
When we do God gives us that new world instead.
Each of us gives the world all the meaning that it has for us.
I don't see the world as wrong or needing to be fixed. I see a peaceful and loving world.
One of us must be living in a delusion.
I'd much rather have mine than yours.

every person on this planet thinks the world revelves around them....whether they want to admit it or not...some dont even realize it. I think that way...I know I do. I try not to.....that is wha is wrong with the world.
As for fixing it? The chances of this world being fixed are so highly unlikely that I wouldnt even bother.

I would be hell scared of world peace. Could you imagine no balance between postive and negative? Too much of each sucks, I think we need to find a balance,a compromise. I don't remember which, but in a Michael Jackson (no poking fun everyone) song, it said on the lines, if we want a better world, first make a cahnge in yourself.

I will submit my dissertation ASAP. That means that there is soo much wrong with this world, that I would need a PhD to figure out how to fix it.

according to god predictions, we can't fix it. this world is going to get worst and worst until the day of judgement.

We all have to adjust our own attitudes about life, love, and respect for others. Keeping ourselves on a positve plane and not dewlling on all the bad stuff will help us all look for the good more often!

Honestly I ask myself that question everyday!!
There is to many crooked politicians and people out there that have there hands in the pot. They are greedy and want for themselves and not for others. Greedy people for Money is the Biggest issue!!

Simple. If people learned to not stick their noses in other people's business and worry about their own problems, many of the world's problems would take care of themselves.
