Not remotely interested in fake tanned male strippers or dressing up in tacky costumers with learner plates attatched to a vail. Something fun but not cheesy, any ideas?

There's loads of things you could do and some really good sites you can visit. I'm organising one myself but the bride to be has given me a few ideas, as she also didn't want cheap and tacky, and neither would I! They do loads of good deals throughout the country where you can choose a package, you can do all sorts: Horse riding, pole dancing, White water rafting, Paint balling, Pamper days, Makeover sessions, and in evenings get VIP passes to some of the best night clubs. Or you could take her abroad for a weekend. I can't decide myself there's so much!!! I also picked up some brochure's. Good luck and have fun!!!

Hire a cooking instructor and make something fun together. Rent/buy a chocolate fountain and dip fruits, pieces of cake, etc. Hire a make-up artist and have a group lesson. Go to a spa and all have facials, etc. I would make a video of all the bride's friends saying nice things about her and show it at the party. You could also do a "hen" scrapbook of photos/memories of times you had together as friends!

Something cheap could be to have a mary kay party or tupperware, pampered chef part, lingerie etc. It's free for the host and then your friends can buy you things for your wedding or buy themselves things. Those are always fun, and not expensive at all. Top it off with a nice night out for everyone to enjoy!
Hope this helps a little!

A friend of mine hired a lovely country house type place with some of her friends. It had loads of rooms a jacuzzi set in some beautiful grounds and was quite isolated so they could make as much noise as they wanted to. I understand that ladies on hen nights do make a lot of noise. Anyway, after the event she couldn't of had a better time.

I'm a bit like you, don't have any wish to get dressed up or have a stripper, I'm fancying going to a concert, then we'll just go out for a few drinks afterwards.

There's one of those shops where you can paint your own plate then get it fired up our road, they advertise hen nights, would be fun if your the creative sort, and also something good if you have a wide range of ages to cater for.

Go, Go-Karting, even if there's those that can't drive, they'll soon pick it up. You lot could show those cocky, egocentric males, up and you can win stuff too. There's usually a bar at these karting venues, but it's probably advisable NOT to have to many prior to driving.
Have Fun!!!
