if you knew you was responceable for many people starveing each day, if you knew you were responceable for hundred's of people getting kill everyday, if you knew you had the money and power to end it all would you?can you sleep at night knowing this?

No I couldn't sleep at night. I would try to do my best to put a stop to it.

I can sleep at night, because no matter how much we do, this will always be ,here on earth, Jesus said so in the Bible, we are to do what we can, but we will never be able to stop it. EVERY one that put an answer on here, Is sleeping, and your as guilty, as anyone, we are all guilty of this, but what we do is take care of the hunger, and neds where we see it, and thats in our community. we as one have no power, but if you were out there taking donations, you could help more, but your not, and it wouldn`t stop it, it might help for a little while, but would still be a problem.

Well i would tell you that the good people go out and save all of the people that are starving, or being killed in the street with their money and power, but they dont. That is the cruel truth of it all...

I can sleep and have no con troll over the rest of the world. That doesn't mean that I don't care, it just means that I not only know my own limitations but I don't hold any one person responsible for everyone else.

I can barely fall asleep now, its very hard for my brain to click off. I keep sleeping pills on my nightstand. With all that you described swimming in my head, I'd probably have to switch to prescription strength sleep aids. So, yes, I'd still sleep.

People on death row sleep fine at night. Some do not have a shred of conscience.

I couldn't. But I hear George W. Bush sleeps like a baby every night and he is surely responsible for a lot of it.

If you have conscience you will not sleep because of the harm you are causing to others. You will go out there and settle everything.

that is why i collect can tabs for St. Jude and raise money for those types of things that help these people. some night i lose sleep because of it.
