I mean in the sense of the point of certain stories, lessons that are supposed to be learned, do you think people would agree on that. Wether or not what another person thinks is what they originally thought or not. For example, one person interprets a story a certain way and speaks with another person who interpreted it differently, do you think that they would argue that their interpretation is the only right one or that both explanations are correct.

Two people can read the very same passage, and it will mean something different to each one of them. No, I do not think that most people interpret the Bible similarly...or even close. And many, if not most, don't think for themselves. The let their churches interpret for them and follow blindly what others say.

Yes, most people see the Bible similarly. There are over 1 billion Catholics and 300 million Orthodox Christians who basically agree on all that the Bible says.

I think that the different religions interpret the Bible different. I also think that a lot of people interpret it different. I think that they use a lot of scripture to suit their own purpose and that's not how it was intended. I think that a lot of people also use scripture on others and don't live their own lives by it. I think that the Bible was written as a guideline to make our decisions by. Some people use it to bash other people over their heads.

If the Bible is read and interpreted like any other work of literature, yes. If the Bible is quoted out of context and passages cut/pasted to fit a premise, no.

a spiritual leader called Jesus is recognised as the Son of God and saves the world. That's about it for similarity amongst interpretations.

No just look at how many biblically based denominations there are. Most people inerpret the Bible from their own church's perspective, or pastor's perspective etc.

No. Wildly different interpretations, which is the cause of so many denominations.

God will not give different messages to Christians that are from the same bible or scriptures. His message will be the same and consistant.
