Absolutely my spouse.
If you're not married or don't trust your spouse's reaction then tell your most trusted person you know. First be ready for responses and if you know what kind of response you want then I would ask for it. People can't read our minds and don't know what we want and can only imagine what it is like until it ever happens to them (and hopefully it wont). People are just that, people. It can be our expectations that screw things up. Don't expect anything and you will always be pleased.
Good luck with whatever it is you are going through, I wish you the very best!

Its a difficult situation. If the news is bad , but there is a remedy, its good. You do need someone who is mature enough to support and sympathize with you than freak out. So find someone who is more mature and solid and trustworthy, usually your mother or sister or husband or a good friend.

The first person I would tell about my bad news would be my husband followed by my children to get them ready for the inevitable event that would be coming in the very near future. Then pray to God almighty to prepare me for whatever it is that is waiting for me when I succumbed, and to forgive me my sins, whatever they might be.

My spouse, if I had one. Then my Pastor, because I would need prayer and Spiritual guidance at that time.
