Try getting blond highlights that are honey, maybe even platinum. U can also put auburn red. U may be able to do both a honey and auburn together. Let a hair stylist do this if u r not sure and just keep it up. Good luck.

A picture would definetly help, but light wheat, sunshine, strawberry blonde, or gold should work. Keep the highlights thin and mostly around your face and crown. I suggest that you go professional, especially for your first time.

heather, you need to give us a pic of your hair (doesn't have to include your face at all)
that way, we can know for sure.
dark blonde can mean so many things!
i'm pretty certain you look good with golden hilights tho! good luck!
