aww, honey i know how you feel. I am best friends with every good guy in my school but none of them have ever asked me out. people tell me that so many guys like me but they are all 'just my friends'. Sometimes i just wish i could go to a different school so that guys would think of me as the girlfriend type instead of just a friend.

I don't think it's cuz they think you're high maintenance. I think guys are just too used to being friends and they're worried we'll stop being friends if anything goes wrong in the relationship. I like being the friend sometimes tho cuz they aren't afraid to talk personal stuff like feelings and emotions sometimes. It reassures me that not all guys only ever think about girls as toys for one night.

My advice would be to meet someone new or just go for it and ask out another one of your guyfriends. Maybe not ever guy just likes you as a friend. Good luck babe!!

Go to mall or night club, get to know more people. Those guys around you lack of self confidence.

You shouldn't expect everything is set for you. You're no princess. If you want something, work for it. The same goes for having a boyfriend

And being rejected is NOT the worst thing in the world. You're not losing anything just because someone rejected you. Consider it his loss. Be positive about everything.

Maybe you intimidate guys. Maybe they don't ask you out because you're pretty and they feel they are not good enough for you, and they think all they can do it be your friend. Try asking out the next guy you like. Take a chance and see how it goes. You don't have anything to lose.

maybe you just appear unobtainable. I once heard that men and women can never be just friends, eventually one falls for the other. I think that is true, so you say you have guy friends- I think there are some guys who would love to date you but not sure how to go about it.

Maybe because you don't touch him enough. You don't appear interested in him as a person. You don't ask him enough questions about himself. You seem self absorbed? Whatever.
Guys like warm affectionate girls who express interest in them.
If you really like a guy, you have to show it. (they are rather dense and need strong signals) LOL
Otherwise, they think you don't care and want to be a buddy.

You probably intimidate them.

Maybe you should see what happens when YOU make the first move on a guy that you're interested in.

What's the worst that can happen?

This is funny. I've been kind of like you. Almost all my friends are male (guys). I have always been the best friend, the confident, the one they count on. Actually, they ask me to write poems to their girls ... can you believe that ?.But when i introduce a girl-friend of mine to one of my boy-friends, they get a crush inmediately. it is funny, maybe i'm just that.. "the best friend".

Jane D has a good point.
You should ask one of your guy friends this same question. One you know you can trust for a honest answer.

Maybe you have trouble flirting properly with a guy. Or maybe when you like someone, you don't show it enough for that person to notice.
