No, propaganda is more than that . It is the use of media, newspapers, television, making speeches and written articles and books that are put out to the masses in order to make them believe a certain way. Such as a government controlling all those forms of media in the country and then putting information out there that they choose for the people to hear and know and believe, not caring if it is true or not. The purpose is to make the people believe you and what you want them to believe usually in order to control them or keep them from forming their own opinions and making decisions and doing things that the propagator does not want them to do. Sort of mass mind control....not letting other opinions on the air or be put in print or whatever. Got it?

the best example I can give you if propaganda is the tv and radio ads you see and hear about the propositions or the people in office that you are asked to vote on. They usually only give you one side of the story to sway you to act in their favor. "I'm lovin it" is not a propaganda in my opinion. Its a form of advertising. Propaganda in advertising if you want to look at it klike that, I think is more of how subway will compare how much fat is in a wopper compared to the subway sub. But propaganda is used more in politics than anything else. YOu can view examples if you look at communist propaganda posters or world war I or WWII I cant remember which one it was. A lot of what you see on TV about the iraq war is a good example. We may actually not know the full story about why we really have our troops there. And other countries may be using their own propaganda as well. I hope this helps it is very interesting to look into.

Propaganda is anything and everything you want it to be. Commercials are propaganda. News is propaganda. Music can be propaganda. Politics is all propaganda. It is a platform, a message that is delivered in a way to get a person's attention and copnvinve that person that doing one thing is better than doing it any other way.
