The fact that you say you dont have the spark for him anymore, it tells me that you dont love him. So, why would you be with a man that you dont love. I done the same thing, but I just broke it off because I didnt need to be there and I was unhappy. Basically, it is just holding you back. You say that you have a thing for his friend and all that I can say about that is how close was you and your boyfriend. It depends on how close you two were in order for me to answer that because you have to think about the feeling that he had as well as your in order for this thing with his friend to work out. It could be dangerous on both your's as well as his friends part if his feeling was deeper than you imagined them to be.

Seems your not ready for a relationship, or at least not with your BF. Best answer, break up with him now so as not to drag this out. A bit of advice for you, the best Friend should be off limits. That's just bad form.

have a heart and some guts and don't be selfish tell your boyfriend how you feel and end it with him and then if you still like his best friend then let him know how you feel , if you don't someone is bound to get hurt

I am sure you wouldn't like someone to do the same thing you are doing to your boyfriend. Don't play with his feelings ...is plain wrong! I think is better be honest with him. Seems like you don't love him...so...why are you still with him? are you afraid of being alone?...if you are...first fix that!...Don't mess someone else life!

if you don't have "that spark" with him, then you shouldn't be wasting your time, and you certainly shouldn't be spending both his time and emotions--move on and let him find someone who will love him for who he is.
