Hey! I've been dating a pastor for a year. It definitely has it's challenges, but it is also a blessing at the same time. The things I find tough is having to 'share' my man with so many people, therefore you do not get to spend as much alone time as you'd like. You also have to see him go through a lot of negative stuff, as people in the church expect a LOT from their pastors and can be quite harsh. You want to protect them from it, but you can't and that can be hard. I also found that there were a lot expectations on me as well, which can add a lot of pressure. But the honour of being able to support a man in such a noble profession outweighs the negatives. You get to be their partner in ministry and see your boyfriend/husband be such a blessing to others. It definitely requires extra effort to make things work and you need to be in constant prayer for your man and put the Lord first, but in the end, it is definitely worth it.

I generally locate that the memory of "the stable previous days" is often extra valuable than the fact. What you're craving for from the stunning 50's replaced into not stay at domicile, no accountability bliss. looking after a house in the 50's replaced into confusing artwork. No Vacuum sweepers. No in domicile laundry. At superb a washer and wringer and carry close them out to dry. No supermarkets. there have been groceries, butchers, fish markets and bring. They weren't multi functional place. outfits have been predominately cotton not poly. they had to be IRONED. maximum residences purely had one motor vehicle so on industry days the spouse had to drop off husband and %. him up after artwork. NO quickly nutrition. NO convenience nutrition. nutrients want arranged the previous-shaped way. Over the range. Did I point out NO MICROWAVES. except you have been between the fortunate few who ought to have the money for to hire help it fell to the mummy. the thought being a SAHM in the 50's replaced into somewhat magical replaced into bull. It replaced into confusing artwork and intensely time eating. it is the reason that the SAHMs of on the instant have lots idle time to get in complication and circulate off the rails with the shortcoming of attempt. women human beings did not have time to grow to be desperate housewives. They have been too busy. They weren't Ozzy and Harriet they have been too busy. women human beings did not graciously "take care" of husband and childrens. they did not have the unfastened time to pay interest on them. babies have been envisioned to pitch in and husband replaced into fortunate to get sparkling outfits and nutrition on the table. the thought of ladies human beings's liberation replaced into to be liberated from the drugery of domicile projects the place women human beings ought to get out of servitude and circulate get a job for pay. women human beings on the instant owe the girls human beings's circulate of the 70's gratitude for forcing the doorways of business enterprise open to permit them them to get stable jobs. the image that the conservative pundents paint of the 50's housewife isn't precise. the fact of the girls human beings's circulate is likewise a strategies diverse from the FemiNazi label that some prefer to throw around as properly. Ask somebody who's sufficiently old to have lived it. be careful what you desire for. fact, you do not prefer to circulate decrease back there.

well, i am not, but i have a lot of friends who are. personally, i think it'd be tough because there's this certain stereotype of how the preacher's wife should be -- how she acts, talks, everything. you're always in the public eye of the church. i think it'd be really tough. but hey, if you really love them, it's totally worth it!
