what is a better tv? a DLP, LCD, or PLASMA? i was looking into getting one about 40-42 inches, any suggestions

please,the three stooges above me obviously dont know what there talking about.plasmas are nice but lcd tvs have better picture, plus they wont burn out as fast they will cost you more dlps ,are probably youre next best bet then plasma i just bought a lcd for my bed room 32inch and its a whole lot nicer than my moms 40inch in the living room.

I would go with Plasma, if you put the 3 tipes together you will see that the quality is better. Plasma is also the new format, so whatever movies or shows they produce will be made to better reproduce on a Plasma Tv.

Plasma for sure, but a HDDI one like mine I have a Panasonic Viera 42inch, picture quality is 3 times better than dvd! LCD tend to lose the sharpness & seem slightly blurred in comparison.

deffinatly plasma but it is extremely expensive and if u want something more cheaper and almost as good then buy the LCD television.
