Homosexual desires may not be a choice or someting that people can control, however, acting on those lusts is a choice and also a sin.

Granted the Bible and Christianity in general have a ready-made excuse to treat a significant portion of the population like crap, but they have a desperate need to be superior to someone. oh ok..well i don't believe in priest but i do believe in the word of God. Christians aren't the ones who choose what is right or wrong but God does and He has spoke against it many times.
Romans 1:24,26-28,32 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves....For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting....who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. i pray that you will repent and turn from your sin.
