don't lead him on thinking ur into him cause that's the worse thing you can do. Just be honest with him and tell him that you feel it would be better off that you guys don't go together because you don't share the same feelings as he does. He may get his feelings hurt but it won't be as bad as leading him on to thinking that he has a chance with you. put yourself in his shoes!!! be kind say that you think he is a great guy!

You need to handle this delicately and with the utmost care and sensitivity. This is a person that you will continue to come in contact with daily. If he asks you out, you should be honest and tell him that you have your eyes set on someone and that you are waiting on the chance to approach them. This places you in the same department as him, which doesn't make you look as if you are being harsh. He will be able to relate and you should not have any uncomfortable situations. If you do be mean, you could cause a situation in which he can become obsessed and a stalker.

Been there! done that! ooh! this is SO fun, girl! I've done this about, what, twelve times, and this always works! OK, arrange some sort of date that involves eating, preferably lunch or dinner, breakfast never works. Before the "date" put on some shoes that reek like, so bad, then at the "date" take them off while you're eating. while you're eating, act really gross and like a total slob! try stuffing your face literally, or if you're sitting in a booth place your smelly feet on his side, so it stinks! I guarantee this will work for you! But, if you're not down with that plan, just go with plan B and pretend you're dating someone else, and to prove it, just find a picture of a hot cousin of yours or a model from an ad or some ting and say he's from Guam or some place. I've done that one twice and they both bought it!

Let him down easy. Just say, you have other plans. If you don't have a date for that dance, you could go with a friend. Just don't put out the wrong vibes where he is concerned. Act like you have someone maybe long distance.

lol, wow. I just delt with something like that a few weeks ago...
Mija, listen, if you're not interested in him, tell him. And I know you dont want to hurt him, ect. ect. But would you rather have him know how you feel or would you rather have him take you to that dance and mistaken your feelings toward him?
I wish you luck with that! ^_^
Stay strong!

If he asks you to the dance, just be POLITE. Tell him that you are flattered by his request, but that you respectfully decline. No explanation is necessary. That way you are saying NO, but you are not hurting his feelings by being rude.

If you don't like him don't let him think you do.
Letting him know you're not interested in him is the way to end his interest.
Most guys are too proud to push themselfs where they are not wanted, just like girls are too proud too.
There are only a few who keep pushing, knowing they are not wanted.

Lie. It sounds mean, but it's the easiest way to get out of the situation without feeling guilty or hurting his feelings. Just tell him you're really f*ked up over a past relationship and normally you would go out with him, but you're too emotionally distraught. It sounds bitchy..but it's just realistic.
