Most promisuous girls did not have a Daddy to tell them how beautiful and smart they were. Girls need that to have good self worth. Otherwise they go from guy to guy to find that relationship they didn't get from their Dad. They use sex and give themselves freely to get self worth, and end up feeling used and abused later on in life. Guys are mostly afraid of committment, because they were hurt and rejected by a parent or a loved one, early on.

generally speaking, yes these people usually have been hurt pretty bad. And it's easy to be promiscuous when you are single, and have been for a while...
