*Do Muslims (Muhammadists) believe they are descendents of Abraham? *

Yes, one can be a Muslim and not be a descendant of Abraham

The Bible Genesis 16:16
Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore him Ishmael.

Hagar is said to be one of the daughters of Imhotep, a princess in her own right. Hagar was an Egyptian.

The Bible Genesis 25: 3 - 16
These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth:
Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers according to their settlements and camps.

The above sounds very much like Muslim names to me.

The Quran 002.125
Remember We made the House ( Kaaba ) a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take you all the station of Abraham
as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Ishmael, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round,
or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves.

Not exactly because Muslims can be any nationality. Arabs are descendants of Abraham through his son Ishmael. The promises of God are to the descendants of Abraham's other son, Isaac.

They are the descendents of Ishmael, who was not related by blood to Abraham, but was his wife's son. They are screwed.
