Try these; Are you a cop? Wanna split a Big Mac? Would you like to take in a movie after dinner?, Main St. cinema is showing "Beach Bimbos #13., sound good? The best way to break the ice on any kind of date is to offer up humor, 'cause the #1 asset a man can have is the ability to make her laugh. Check it out. Luck, ...Rat (PS; don't talk about yourself too much. They all say that they hate that, but all they do is ask, ask, ask,)

Just be yourself and have an open mind. Ask questions that you want to know the answers to such as ask her about her hobbies, her interests, the kind of music she likes, where she likes to hang out at, her family, her pets, where she went to school, etc.

Then when she answers those questions, you can expand on her answers to keep the converstation going. For example, if you ask her what are her hobbies and she says she likes watching football, you can ask her about her favorite teams, then once she says the teams, you can tell her your favorite teams and start talking about how they are doing this year etc.

The key to the first date is to keep the interst flowing on your end, so just listen to her answers and expand on whatever she says. That way, you can keep the interst alive so there won't be any long dead silences.

Informative questions about her life, interests, hobbies, home, childhood or past, work, if she got any kids, her name...

Just finding out as much as possible. Ask her about what you want in a woman. Talk about your interests to see if you match in any way, have things in common.

You usually notice it if you "click" with a person. Some people just aren't on the same frequency.

Ask her some questions about herself, like, what are you interested in? If you weren't in your current job, what other job would you have? Just see how it goes from one question to another. ^_^ Take it easy man, relax a little, it's not like you're going to have a list of questions to ask her...it takes time.
Good luck!

find out her interests. What movies, sports,TV shows etc that she likes. tell her the things you are interested in. don't bring up anything about a lasting commitment . just have fun.
