Is there a "design-rule" about painting window frames a different color on the inside vs. on the outside?

I'm a professional interior designer, and I will often paint the inside frames of a window a different color than what is on the exterior. There is absolutely nothing wrong "design wise" with doing that. And if you do it and end up not liking it, hey...paint is cheap, and you can fix it!

Hunter green would look better with cream. Black would be ok if the exterior was white. That's just my opinion.

astro22, I dont think of that would seem stupid in any respect.!! in certainty years in the past my sister did something very similiar to what you have defined and it SO made her condominium seem so cutting-edge!! It replace into the best coloration too! She used like a Burgandy colored paint, and it basically appeared so "remarkable!" She in basic terms painted like round her cabinet frames, in her kitchen and placed all forms of nic-nac's to bypass alongside with it, and it basically livened up her entire place!! incredibly while she placed huge tree like plant life in each and every single place to bypass alongside with the entire seem too! In her livingroom (that's). She had a sort of kitchens you may see from the livingroom so all of it went extremely properly mutually. For you and on your case, i think of you're completely going to love this new seem. incredibly once you have blinds, there extremely are not plenty you're able to do with them. the place we live we even have blinds. And it gets so warm out here in the intense wasteland that if we plenty as placed even curtains over our blinds, it might soften them, and curl them up! i've got seen it take place repeatedly lower back to different tenants the place we live! For some reason you may't placed something over them, or they curl up under as quickly through fact the sunlight hits them. This is just my opinion, but I feel that when it comes to designing things, your best bet is to choose how you design things yourself, to fit your own likes and dislikes...I say, if that is what you want to do, then do it...if you don't like it later, you always have the option to change it!
