There are scholarships out there for those 30 and above, but there are fewer of them compared to high school students. FAFSA.ed.gov will help you tap into need based financial aid from both the college and federal government. Second, ApplyTexas will help you tap into both college applications and state help. Third, the college financial aid website most times have a list of private scholarship sources available from companies and organizations. Finally, there are free membership scholarship search engines out there, and most are updated on a regular basis. Good luck!

Don't just limit it to the college themselves, do a search. I know Clairol, for instance, has a scholarship for women over a certain age going back to school. Coke sponsors scholarships, a lot of places do. Do some internet research and ask a reference librarian to help you if you get stuck. good luck!
