Just one page, I added a boarder to it and when I print preview or even try to print, the bottom of the page is missing.

I get an error that says "the page boarders are outside the printable area of the page".

I have tried to change the margins, footers, you name it.

Keep in mind that your PRINTER just can't print to the very edge. It has to grab the page. (go with a borderless printer if you need this).

Go to the FILE menu and pick Page Setup. You can set the header, footer, top, bottom, left and right side margins. Make these realistic. But set the Paper Size to what you are really using.

This just takes some "playing with page setup."
To begin, set page margins at 1" for top, bottom, left, right.
Add the page border.
click the "print preview" button.
Do you see all of it?
If you have finished typing the document and you see the border, I assume you are finished with it.
Print.

If the bottom is still missing,
click the print preview button
When in print preview, click the magnifier button (next to the printer icon)
This will allow you to work in print preview.

click Format
Borders & Shading
cl Options (right side of window)

click the down arrow next to “measure from”
click “text”

clear the boxes to surround the header and footer
click o.k.

You are still in print preview.
If you click the magnifier button again, you will be in print preview mode.
If you click Close, you will return to normal editing.

Your Paper Size may not be correct to the paper you are printing on...

In Australia we use A4 paper size whereas US uses Lettersize (which we call foolscap)...

Check your page set up preferences as well as the printer's paper size (under printer properties).... and reset accordingly to which country you are in...

PS - most MS Word's default page settings is Lettersize

That means your printer can't print that far down the page. You'll have to rearrange it to make everything take up slightly less of the page, vertically.

i'm guessing which you placed your border outdoors the print section on your printer. maximum printers can print to interior .3 or .25 inches of the edge of the internet site, yet not previous that. once you're closer than, say, .4 inches to the backside of the internet site, try carry it up slightly. that ought to do the trick.
