Well, ask your parents first-that's if you are young.
I would say below 17-18 is too young to start putting chemicals in your hair, just my opinion.

OOOOOOOOO BOY!! OK I am a hairdresser and I am also a mom of an 11 1/2 year old. I started highlighting my nieces hair at 9 yrs old. but...lol my own daughter I think shes to immature to have her hair highlighted. Once shes responsible to wash it and brush her teeth without being nagged to do it..i would say I would do it for her. O and..normally highlights aren't cheap. So if you are 10 thru say 16 and want them..I would think it was fair that you earned them or used your allowance to save for them. I cant really say there is a certain age in years but defiantly a certain maturity level that years cant measure. Gl .

OMG! your the chick that asked about the eyeliner! lemme guess your mom won't let you get streaks either.....well i'm 13 and my hair's blonde and i have dark brown streaks so....i guess 13.

10 thats when most kids i know got theres. (im 13 and got my hair donewhith highlights when i was 10)

My daughter was 12 when she first got highlights.

I think that 5th or 6th grade is good i got mine when i was in the 6th grade!!!!
