Hey, why cut atheists out of the question?
I'll answer anyway.
Hmmm.
Well, the thought of hairy man-butt sex is disgusting as well as unhealthy.
Biologically it's dysfunctional for procreation, which is the whole point of our sex organs and existence if you believe the "selfish gene" theory.
But I think you probably mean "immoral?"
(Hmmm. Do I really care what he does with another consenting adult? Nope.)
Okay, it's wrong if you're homosexual and and a Republican at the same time. Although there's apparently an exception if your chairman of the RNC.

It seems everyone has missed the point of your question. The wrong in homosexuality are the questions it raises for theists. To point;

If God creates man in his image, could God be gay?

How can an omnipotent, loving God create "an abomination" in his own image? Did God make mistakes in his creation or is God a sadist for creating someone destined to struggle their entire lives to be "normal?"

Since homosexual sex occurs with other species, Bonobo's come to mind quickly and are primates too, is it possible that God likes gay and the Bible is wrong about the abomination part?

Gay people force theists to examine the precepts and foundations of their religions. Since most religions are based on the concept of faith, questioning is discouraged. That makes it sort of a catch 22. The easiest answer for them is to stick with dogma and don't ask questions, far better to remain in the superstitious dark.

I'm not sure to what extent it is useful to answer this question, in the sense that the way you ask it, I think your mind is already made up. HOwever might I mention that the natural purpose of sex is reproduction (I mean, did you ever learn in school about 'reproductive organs'? I realise sex is also meant to be a lot of fun and an expression of love and affection. However, by the nature of sexual organs and with the whole idea of procreation, it is obviously intended to be between the sexes. A person can receive sexual stimulation from many things, but that does not make those things the right and normal order of things.
Another answerer has already given a text from the Bible - there are many others as well.

Besides the fact that religions of most shapes and sizes define it as unnatural, on a more agnostic basis, it's just destructive behavior these days....

Over half a million male Aids victims?
10 times the rate for hetero.
Just from the health aspect, I'd say that's one BIG wrong risk.

The cumulative estimated number of deaths of persons with AIDS through 2004 is 529,113, including 523,598 adults and adolescents, and 5,515 children under age 13.

Exposure Category Estimated # of AIDS Cases, Through 2004*
Male-to-male sexual contact 441,380
Male-to-male sexual contact and injection drug use 64,833

*Includes persons with a diagnosis of AIDS from the beginning of the epidemic through 2004.

At the end of 2003, an estimated 1,039,000 to 1,185,000 persons in the United States were living with HIV/AIDS, with 24-27% undiagnosed and unaware of their HIV infection.1

The fact of the matter is, even if they believe that it's a sin (which is a bit silly, I think), why do they single out that sin? Isn't everyone a sinner, according to them? And they dredge it up from some OT book with lots of other weird rules THAT THEY NO LONGER FOLLOW. You can't just pick and choose scriptures to suit your needs!

And for those of you who claim it isn't NATURAL, do you live in a tree and eat all of your meat raw? Who's to say what's NATURAL and what isn't. Could it be that others are different from you, and that what is strange to you is natural to them? Beware of solipsism.

Nice picture. I don't think atheists believe that it's wrong. As for "religionists" as you call them, it goes against the grain. Anything that isn't deemed normal, is wrong.

What's "wrong" about a person having sex with an animal like a man with a dog? It goes against nature, that's what. Of course maybe you don't agree with that either. I feel sorry for people who can't be guided by the natural revelation of the things of this world to the basic truths about God and ourselves because there is little hope that such a person will ever find God in this life time and once they leave this planet there is no second chance.

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. Romans 1:18-25

If a person says "Yeah, I know that humans were created to have sex male and female but I'm just wired differently and I'm attracted to people of my own sex", there is hope for such a person. God can re-wire that man or woman so that they can live a normal life. But if a person is in stubborn denial of this basic reality then in some cases God will abandon them because they won't recognize a basic truth but prefer to remain the way that they are.

Ok well first of all God made Adam and Eve...so if two people of the same sex get together it is like you are going against what God wanted for the world. Plus two gays cannot make babies...if two gays can't but two heterosexuals can than obviously humans were meant to be hetero or else we'd extinct.
