The three religions you mention are much too different to be changing from one to another. If it's plurality you're looking for, try Buddhism. They don't worship a god -- they meditate for inner peace and work toward living a peaceful life. One can be a Buddhist as well as a Jew, Christian, or Muslim.

Being open to any spiritual practice a good thing however you must take into account you can't simply choose a different religion every day of the week. With the option of various faiths one can pick their religion or spirituality that is conducive to their lifestyle they want to live by. They can choose to believe in many Gods and become a Hindu. If monotheism and strict rituals appeals to them they can become Muslim. If they want to have an ethical way to live and do good without having God in their life they can become a Buddhist or another religion that has ethics without God. In this world there are many philosophies and religions all competing for our hearts. When one searches for the truth they need to be aware of many things that we are often not attentive of. There has been TV shows and articles about people of all faiths praying for the sick and all seeing some results. Some did not know that others were praying for them. This seems to imply that spirituality is all multi faceted and that it does not matter what one believes or prays to. Our culture is very pragmatic in its approach accepting the premise if it has worked for someone it should be accepted as valid and true. One persons ceiling becomes another person’s floor.

No, it's not a good thing to be a religious pluralist because Jesus said:

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

And Peter by the Spirit of God told the Jews who had persecuted Jesus:

"Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders, if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead--by him this man is standing before you well. This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:8-12

To be a "religious pluralist" is just the opposite to what Jesus taught ... the Exclusivity of Jesus Christ.

He said I am the Way, the Truth, the Life"

Not "A way, A truth, A life"; rather, The Wa, The Truth, The Life".
No one comes to the Father but by Me (Jesus).

The exclusivity of Jesus Christ and His claims.

Religious pluralist is again another confusion. There are already many so-called religious organizations here and there in the world.
If you seek for the One True God, He will guide you to His New Revelation for this age of human maturity and global civilization.
I sincerely say that God will guide, not myself. Therefore I don't mention the name of His New Revelation in order that you are completely independent in your investigation.
You may wonder why God doesn't guide you before you seek? Perhaps, He wants you to use His divinely given rational sense, rather than imitation, to gloriously discover Him and His creation.

When it's all said and done there is only ONE GOD. With all these idol gods being worshiped only God will come out on top. At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess. If you haven't made Jesus your Lord and Savior do it today, right now. There is no other way. And realize Jesus didn't come for a religion but for a relationship with you.

seems as though one can follow whatever religion they want as long as they abide by the laws rules and mores of the society in which one resides. but the religion has certain requirements which must be met and followed which is their right as well to make certain the followers are sincere in their purpose.

If religious pluralism wasn't a self-refuting concept, you would be correct. However, God is God, and these different faiths are so different in their teaching that you would have to change your opinions like you'd change your clothes.
