Since they are so cheap, do you think the produce are more mass produced and pesticide-ridden than average?

when i lived in Seattle i asked an Asian market owner this same question we were friends so he told me him and most of the other store owners would by there produce strait from the farm workers the workers would take the stuff from work and sale it to them for far less than they could buy it from the farm i don't know if it was stolen or given to them but they would bring it in their trucks and cars every couple of days

these produces' are cheap cause the land they farm is cheap,wages are low overheads or cost of production is low..such as transportation,fuel,pesticide,water etc.the stores selling them cost lower to manage compared to europe and americas.

one thing that I know for sure is the lower wages many asian grocery stores pay their workers.
