A year single will not be a problem. It will give you time for yourself.

i have been single for 4 years and it feels really good but there is a guy that i like. so i basicly have the same problem. all i can say is if u want to be single for a while then go for it. and if u want to be in a relationship go for it. im not telling u that u should or shouldnt be in a relationship im just saying that this is a question u need to ask urself and resolve by urself. cause if u listen to anyone on here then thats just gonna make things a lot worst with this question

I think your being smart you should be focused on more important things. As for relationships trust me oppurtunities like that will always be there but not the same for your career

It alright as you are sane and have good friends to enjoy with, a good job, and lifestyle. I am 34 and been single since birth, and I seem ok I guess. I am still alive and kicking. So just keep your self busy and you will be ok. Some people have a hard time being single and alone. They get all freaked out and worry about it.

Take time for yourself and what is important to you now. You will know when it is time to settle down and juggle both a career and a relationship. It's always great to have a friend in your life, but keep it at a distance and focus on what will make you the happiest.

That's a smart thing to do. There are always guys out there whenever you want them, but you're focusing on your career and it's success; so you shouldn't let anything (even your hair) get in the way of that. So, I suggest waiting awhile until you're positive that if you have a bf, that he won't ruin any of your plans.

If being single for a year seems like a good idea to you then do it. It's your life and that's your choice. Don't be concerned about missing anything because if an opportunity is meant to come your way nothing can stop it. Relax, and trust your own judgement regarding your life and your personal decisions.

There is nothing wrong with taking a year to follow your dreams. If someone comes along then great, but your main goal is your dream don't give it up for anyone, whomever should understand your work and support you. Your not missing out on anything.

Sounds like you will need to focus your attention on your career so being single might be a very good idea.

Try to remain single unless somebody of your dreams comes by. I suppose at your stage in your life, it might be easier to commit time to your career than try to juggle that and a relationship.

Being single for a year never hurts anyone. You'll still have plenty of opportunities to date. Coupledom isn't a must do. Spread your wings.
