My hair wont stay straight! I'll wake up and it'll be wavy, I'll use my straightener and usually it'll go straight, but an hour later it'll be really wavy again. Any suggestions?

Maybe you should cut them a bit. Because when you cut them it's easier to style them.
If you always want to have a perfect hair do you should get your hait cut every 3 weeks, it's actually very often but cutting them in once in a while really helps!

I have the same problem. I use a good leave in and then a shine serum then a ceramic iron not a metal one. you can also buy straighting shampoos as well that will help some, make sure if you use a striaghtener not to use too high of a setting on it. More heat will later lead to what is known as 'funky' hair syndrom.

I recomended to someone else to use cold water when shampooing, that will help some as well. Make sure not to damage the hair further from wanting it to be straight-straight. You can also go to beauty stores and buy more expensive straingting creams if ones from drug stores are not working.

I also recomend if you go to a beauty store ask an employee what they recmend, also by buying from a salon or beauty store the products will be guarenteed. So if it's not working go back and try something else.

I have incredibly curly and frizzy hair, that is until last June. There is a product by Conair that drys AND straightens your hair at the same time. Fantastic. I use a little hair oil (carrot oil) and do my hair (it is very long) it stays straight until the next washing. NO MATTER WHAT THE HUMIDITY

Try styling your hair at night before you go to sleep. I.E bump the ends of your hair at night with a curling iron and "wrap" it. Sort of like the bee hive. If you have to use some wrap and set lotion, or even some frizz ease. When you comb it down in the morning it should be str8. Works great for me!

Matrix has a blow down cream. Use that when blowdrying. In the same line they have a thermal protectant that has memory in the spray. Spray it on before flat ironing. After your done use a balm that is humidity resistant. "Some like it hot" in the bed head line is awsome. Smooth some on and your good to roll. My clients swear by these products.

The same happens to me, but i have really curly hair and i have always tried straightenig it, but recently i thought i'd leave it curly and i got soo many compliments. You don't have to straighten your hair like everyone else. Be Different!!!!

you need to use some kind of product..... it is hard to keep straight if you wash and then sleep on it....do your hair in the morning....a good product to use is Aveda's Hang Straight...put on wet hair and then dry and straighten, works wonders
