If congress has it's way yes. But this was originally set to start in1997. It has been pushed back every year because no one want to throw away their TVs that work just fine for a new one that costs over $3,000. The new ones are digital, this law was pushed for by Sony and other Japanese electronics companies that build all the digital TVs.

This is why many TV stations are broadcasyt in analog (the old style) and digital format (Japanese style)

you don't have to buy special box is only that regular channel
that you use antenna by the time you won be able to get does
channel so you have to get digital server like cable or satellite

No, don't listen to all the hype, people just don't understand the issue. It will ONLY affect people who get their signal over the air. If you have cable or satellite, you will not be affected. If you do get it over the air, you will have a problem and need to buy a box, but most people don't do that anyway.
