Absolutely. Haven't you ever heard of spousal rape? It happens every day. And by the way, God doesn't like it any better than the law does.

There cannot be fornication within marriage because the definition of fornication is sex between people both of whom are not married to each other or anyone else.
There can be lust in marriage. Lust is sexual desire that has no respect for the other person but sees the other only as a means of personal pleasure.

This is a very good question!!
But, it is impossible, according to the Bible and the Dictionary to Fornicate with your spouse. Because, Fornication is the act of sex between two people NOT married to each other. However, LUST can be a part of marriage because this is the ultimate desire for the act of sex.

Had to add this: If the question was asked differently; Is it possible for a husband or a wife to Fornicate outside the marriage? The answer would be; YES!

Can there still be lovemaking within the bounds of marriage? Do you think of exciting sex as "lust" or "fornication." I have been in a relationship for 30 years, have never strayed, and sex is still fabulous. I guess it depends on your marriage, openness with each other, and not using words like lust and fornication to describe sex.

yes because even though people arent marraige some people are still commmited to their relationship. If it doesnt work out even though they just split up and dont divorce they can still love and care for eachother and this matters just the same. Lust- is physical attraction so that is important when you realize you want to be with something i hope for you too. It just happens suddenly not magically when a preist says "i prouncounce you man and wife"

So you are probably right its better to be married much better they never knew this that you do. Or...they want to make sure they really are commited BEFORE they say i do.

No fornication or lusts is a sin Marriage or not. Even to lust after your own wife or husband is a sin.

Love them, but don't lust for them or fornicate with them. It's a sin.

Sure, and without it too! Or else the human race would have died off long before now. Doubt the cave-dwellers had marriage certificates.

not without causing serious damage to your marriage, risking getting a disease that can kill you, it debilitates your relationship with God (if that is important to you) and can be the very thing that keeps you out of heaven. (even if you think you are Christian).
