not in military, but he is talking marriage and I wanted to know what to expect as a military wife. I could care less what he makes, besides I make more than him anyway.

take a guess you are new to the military.
1st SGT have a higher part of responsibility.
Not much different then other service men,the higher the rank the higher the responsibility.
What i would be worried if i was you is, deployment and the PCS move so your job you have right now will be gone due to PCs move.
But that's the life of a military wife.

Some people are made for it some are not.
If you think you can handle military life and you love that guy go for it,don`t worry everything else will fall in place.
Good luck!!

expect alot of nights alone.being a military spouse you will need to get used to doing things for yourself. and moving alot. you will deal with deployments.. where every you two are stationed make friends with some of his married co-workers wives. this way you have someone who knows what your going through. make other friends too. be prepared to know next to nothing about his job and long hours

If you are sleeping with him I would advise not to. I used to be a captain in the Army and my "top" had numerous girls like you in the company. Basically it came back on him when he got busted. He was demoted in rank and dishonorably discharged for fraternization.

Are you sleeping with one? Or are you on the other side of the desk from one? What does his job have to do with his personal relationships. I had lots of friends as First Shirts. They're cool.

its not that bad as long as you love the person. he might ask you to do more but its worth it.
