You can catch aids by having sexual intercourse even oral sex, sharing needles, and through open wounds that touch. When ever someone with aids exchanges body fluids with some one it is probable that they will contract the virus. You would have to drink a gallon of their saliva in order to get it from kissing or sharing food or water. Also not all but some children get aids if their mother has it since they share body fluids.
A nurse a couple of years back got aids by getting pricked by a needle after using on an effected man. Also if someones blood got in your eye you could get it.

Umm, you can't get it from your own body fluids, if your body fluids were capable of infecting people with AIDS, then you'd already have it :)
As for relatives, you can get AIDS from anyone who caries the disease, through contact with their bodily fluids, say during intercourse or through some other mishap (blood getting into a wound, using someone elses razor blade or something like that). Family members are not exempt. You can also pass it on to your children.

AIDS can be transmitted through fluid exchange (blood, saliva).
You can contract it if you're sharing needles with someone who has AIDS....also it's a STD, so you can get it by engaging in intercourse, mixing blood, blood transfusion... you can also contract it by open mouth kissing and sharing hygiene tools (toothbrush, razor, etc)
some of these are being disputed, but basically any way that bodily fluids are transmitted between someone with AIDS, there's a possiblity for the contraction of AIDS...
be safe!

do not be scared you need to have sex with some one that has aids and you would need to have an open sore for it to get into your body
you can not get it by being near anyone that has it they would need to get it in to your blood stream, can not get it by touching some one ot shaking hands
sex is the best way to get it so always use a condom no matter who you are with even if you think they do not have it.
